  : The big bed was very comfy. Lovely size of room and the tea and coffee facilities were excellent.

  : We had room nr 1 , so maybe the other ones are better. Room is very small, no place to stash 2 suitcases. Felt a bit like camping as we had to move things over all the time.Room was warm, but opening the window was no option for the street is extremely busy and noisy, also at night.Breakfast was not enough for us. Two paper bags, with one shared baguette and jellies and for each some yoghurt, package of orange juice and a banana. No plate supplied to eat from.

  : We'll use this as a base the next time. Booked one night as transit following a highland tour and preceding a move to Wales; booked on budget price + good reviews. Excellent! Stunning views from our room at the top. braw propietors to carry our bags up the (narrow and steep) stairs. And down again. Lovely breakfast delivered in paper carry bag to door, including warm wraps (not just cold stuff). Good shower, good beds. Not hugely spacious but we fitted with our two heavy suitcases and two rucksacks. Convenient to buses (right outside) and not expensive to take a cab to town. Using this as a base saves a packet on central Edinburgh, speaking from experience (we chose to pay a lot earlier, see our Cityroomz review!) Welcoming and courteous and helpful young owners. Altogether, Good Stuff!!
  : Stairs are part of the building. Steep. But the proprietors carried our bags up and down happily, so it didn't matter greatly
