  : This hotel is in a good location for visiting local attractions, particularly The Imperial War Musuem.
  : I booked what was described as a King room. What we got was essentially a converted cupboard in the basement, next to staff storage cupboards /offices and a toilet with a noisy hand dryer which was used both early and late. The service in the bar and restaurant was patchy (not breakfast). We had booked into the restaurant for both nights but after a dismal first evening, we cancelled our second night reservation. Lastly, on inspection of a very lengthy bill print out we discovered that every single transaction had a 'discretionary' sizeable service charge attached. This included every drink in the bar and even a cup of coffee. These charges are bad enough but not to be informed about them in advance is disgraceful, as we should have been given the choice to accept or refuse them.
