  : I was offered a pleasant looking room with a double bed and a single bed because a room became available. This really helped me with an extra duvet during cold Yorkshire nights. Breakfast is included in the price, and that's great because the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, and there is nowhere else to have a breakfast unless you drive for good 30 minutes to the nearest town or service. You can ask for fresh milk for your tea, and the bar attendant will be happy to give more than enough milk to make a fresh, hot cup of tea. A kettle and tea are available in the room. Duvets are downfilled and hypoallergenic.
  : Let's be fair. The establishment is a pub, with rooms rented out on a nightly basis, not a hotel, and doesn't have a separate entrance for guests, so if you need anything you must ener the pub to see a member of staff.The lighting in my room was very poor - only by table lamps, which don't provide enough light in the room, so if you are like myself presbyopic and myopic, you are likely to forget and loose something like your reading glasses, and not realise it until you are some 100 miles away, by which time if you have checked out, your possessions will be gone without a trace because hotel staff doesn't know how to get in touch with their cleaners. Heating didn't work, and consequently I was freezing for 2 nights of my stay, but fortunately, there was an extra bed in my room with a duvet, which i used, but if i hadn't been allocated a room with 2 beds I'd be freezing. Windows are single glased, and window locks aren't working well. I could not find a hairdrier and had to dry my hair under the heater fixed to the wall above wc. Drunk people are coming in and out shouting, people gather to smoke and talk outside just under the windows and all smoke rises up to the bedroom, the man next door to me was on the phone to his mum past midnight and I could hear everything he said, the people above me got up at 6am and the soundproof is so poor, it sounded like they were walking on my face. I didn't get a single night of good sleep, and that is considering I was working a weekend and drove there and back for 10 hours.No separate entrance for guests means you must enter the pub, so if you are a lady on your own arriving late, you must get past drinking men to the bar whilst they all are checking you out from the front and behind. The entire room filled with men turned around and gazed at me as I walked in. You must order your dinner in the morning, but after 20.
