  : Dear Sir / MadamI write with regards to our recent stay at the hotel.Firstly I would like to express how delightful & charming the hotel is with its Victorian features, especially from a exterior perspective all within a calm & relaxing environment within an excellent location.However, I unfortunately would like to express my extreme disappointment regarding the 2 x double rooms we had been accomodated for our stay, with regards to the standard, quality and condition of the rooms in respect and in comparison to the cost/rate per night for each room. The rooms were in a very poor condition in regards to the interior decor in general together with a number of issues regarding some of the fixtures within the rooms. The TV bracket which rotated the TV was broke, not allowing to position the TV to be able to view, the lock on the bathroom/toilet door was broken and surrounding area of the door in an unclean poor condition, the bottom area of the door to the room had a hole with the surrounding area in a very poor condition, the bed sheets were ripped, one of the plastic water beakers was cracked which leaked water, the shower head required replacing and there was a general lack of toileteries provided, especailly considering toileteries were included within images of rooms shown on the webiste prior to booking.Further to the above, the general condition of the interior decor within the hallways and landing areas was also in a very poor condition.I attach some photographs of some of the areas of poor condition within the rooms.As I am sure you would appreciate & understand this is not the standard that should be expected when paying £140 per night for the room, £280 in total for the 2 x rooms. The quality of the rooms most certainly did not match or justify the rate of the room.

  : The location would have been great if we had had a room as we had paid for.
  : Arriving after a 6 hour drive to be told we didn't have a room but they had booked us in at the pub round the corner, the pub being £70 less a night, but if we wanted the breakfast we had paid for we had to walk round to the hotel between 8 & 9am. Then having walked round to find its an allocated seating system & we were expected to sit in a line of other guests. Its not written anywhere but this is a hotel that is part of coaching hotel & is therefor full of elderly people, great if you want that sort of holiday but for a younger demographic it is not the place for you. The way the breakfast was run is very much like that of a care home!

  : Nothing related to the hotel but the local council was moving rocks on the beach until 0300hrs so it was noisy.
