  : Nice curtains in room. Bottled water in room. Nice coffee at breakfast.
  : - whole place is very damp, very very damp with smell of mould and one member of my group is unwell from the damp. - generally dirty - very load thumping "club music" echoing through to late at night plus can hear everything from neighbouring rooms. I'd expect music at a pub but good standard, not an attempt at Ibiza. - room facilities, crikey, where to begin.... we did have a laugh when we realised we had to plug the kettle in on the floor to boil. - awful breakfast with long wait and barking dogs allowed in the "restaurant" bit. But when we approached the stay as like "Fawlty towers" it was really funny. The food tasted okay but long wait, dingy restaurant and the barking dog ruined breakfast. - isn't family friendly at all, you would never take your children's to this type of bar or restaurant. There are so many other lovely family friendly bars and restaurants nearby. - we have stayed in many independent/ Airbnbs plus premier Inn in local area who are so much better and similar price. The website mentions about "the best hospitality" in Northumberland, this is not true. The Northumberland folk are so friendly, welcoming and helpful and we have always had wonderful experiences at other places, this is a disgrace to hospitality in Northumberland and as whole.

  : The property was convenient for Wansbeck hospital where we were visiting a member of our family. They made the room available to us at 15 minutes notice.

  : The location was lovely near the river, beds were clean and comfortable, lovely shower, friendly staff and cracking breakfast
  : It was a busy local pub so was rather noisy, plus the boxing was on so late night noise, however to be expected, forgot the ear plugs!

  : Lovely comfortable room, great breakfast & friendly helpful staff. We were visiting friends in the area and had pre-booked 1 night but decided to extend for another night.
  : A little TLC required bring the bathroom up to the standard of the room.
