  : Beautiful classic building, very friendly receptionist (who also appeared to be the waiter and perhaps also cook at breakfast) nice large enough room (nr. 8), clean and large bed, clean sheets and pillows. Nice entrance, nice bar and barman, good drinks in the evening. Good and tasteful breakfast in a nice classic breakfast room. Good coffee! Clean and working toilet downstairs.
  : Room was not clean: spider webs above the curtain before the window and in the ceiling corner by the bed. Toilet doesn’f flush.Black mold and calcium in the shower edges and floor. Worst of all black mold dots in the bath towels…we did not dare to take a shower in the morning because of that.Window frames were paintless and rotten. This appears to be the ‘high standard’ in all of the UK: almost nobody maintains their houses and outside paintwork: awfull!!!Only reason we give a passing grade (6 out of 10) is because of the friendlyness, helpfulness, good bar and good breakfast.But our advice: get the basics right NOW: wash, clean and paint!!!
