  : Location suited the reason for our stay and it was nice and quiet being set back off a busy road.Hosts very attentive and addressed all minor issues immediately.

  : A truly pleasant surprise to arrive to a warm welcome (Sebastian just happened to be there and couldn't have been nicer), a basket of goodies, a really lovely, spacious, sparkling clean house. Loved the privacy. An ideal place to come as a couple or a family. Plenty of seating options if you wanted to have friends join you for breakfast, lunch or supper (inside or out). Very well equipped. Great entertaining outdoor space even with the car securely parked behind two sets of doors. Excellent location and a very interesting historic walk into the centre. We came for two nights but would come again for a week and use it as a base for touring the area as so much to see and do around the area.
  : In life one has to be a realist. Life in someone else's house is never quite like being at home - always things you would prefer to have or not to have, but in truth Cedar House was as near to perfect as it could be and the one tiny niggle we had Simon was there in minutes to sort it out (with a smile)

  : The decor was lovely. The Sofas were comfortable. There were plenty of cups, plates, glasses. There was even a welcome basket which was a lovely touch.
  : It was a like rough around the edges. A Lamp had been sellotaped and kept cut out which is quite dangerous, so we switched it off. A few Plug sockets were loose and the plaster had came away. The bath had scratches and in places it could have been cleaner e.g. the kick board in the kitchen and the cupboard where there were glasses and an iron board.

  : Cedar House is in an excellent location in the St Dunstan's area, just outside the city walls. It was within easy walking distance of many good restaurants and Canterbury West train station, with links to many of Kent's coastal towns and into London. Also convenient for buses too. The kitchen and living room were well appointed. The beds were extremely comfortable.
  : The bathroom attached to the upstairs bedroom only has a stand-alone bath, which is not suitable for showers. There is a shower cubicle in the en-suite of the downstairs bedroom but it is small, so was snug for my husband. The entrance and driveway to Cedar House are very tight. In the arrival information, the owner did advised to not turn left into the archway but continue past the property, turn round at the mini roundabout and turn right into the arch - very useful advice. Once up the drive way we did manage to turn the car around but it took a lot of "point turns" (we were in a Vauxhall Insignia, so not the smallest but not the biggest either). Fortunately we were either walking or getting the train during our stay, so were able to leave the car where it was but if you were wanting to use your car it would probably be best to drive on forwards and just accept backing out, carefully!
