  : The bed was so lumpy we ended up with back pain after just one night. We had to stay in a local Premier inn for the rest of our stay. The traffic was extremely loud because if the single glazed windows. Basically we couldn't sleep there at all.

  : Great location with easy access to the town, lots of pubs and restaurants. Lovely, clean, spacious apartment with good facilities.
  : The pillows and duvet had feather fillings and unfortunately I'm allergic to them, so I bought some from the town which wasn't a problem. I'm sure the property owner would have sorted something out if I'd asked as she was incredibly helpful on everything else.

  : Our second stay here. Excellent location, cross the road and you're in the Pavillion Gardens, 5 mins from Higher Buxton shops, pubs and restaurants, 10 mins to Pooles Cavern and Buxton country park. Set back from the road behind mature trees, with off-road parking space right by the front door - we didn't have any problems with road noise that others have mentioned and we're from a quiet country village! The flat is light and spacious, well equipped, comfy bed, plenty of storage, good wifi, good over-bath shower. It's part of a Victorian terrace, and the outside and communal areas are a bit scruffy but it's not a big deal, the flat itself is fine, clean and comfortable, very reasonably priced, and we'd be happy to return.

  : Great location, everything in Buxton is in walking distance like pubs and restaurants, and the Pavilion Gardens. The apartment is really spacious and well equipped, especially in the kitchen they've provided everything you could need. Smart TV was a bonus too for a couple of wet days we had, it was set up with Netflix, iPlayer etc already. We found the place very comfortable and a lovely base for a week away.
  : The whole place could do with a little bit of TLC, nothing is broken or unclean but it's certainly an older property that needs a fresh lick of paint. But this is true of lots of Victorian properties, and didn't spoil our stay.
