  : Lovely location on the river, all pleasantly tucked away from anything busy. All seemed good on arrival, the room was nicely set out and clean.
  : A bizarre dining experience. I had entered the bar/resturant and was pleasantly welcomed and given a set of menus and told I was welcome to sit anywhere. After I had sat, chosen and walked to the bar to order I was then informed they wasn’t taking orders for at least 30 minutes due to a large table (the resturant and garden was sparsely populated at this point, 5:30pm). I thought okay, I’d like to have been informed this on check in or when I walked in and received menus so I could have made alternative arrangements, but fair enough, I’ll wait. Upon waiting, I noticed at least 3 tables then successfully order within 10 minutes of me being declined. Which I mentioned upon the requested 30 minute wait, to which I was told ‘they were booked guests’. Which I found even more odd given I was a booked guest also. With a feeling of reluctance from the staff, I was then allowed to order which was seemed a rushed/disappointing hunters chicken. The shower later in the evening wouldn’t drain whilst running.
