  : Excellent home cooked breakfast. Hosts very welcoming and helpful with advice on restaurants and walks & made phone calls for us to book restaurants and to cancel our golf (it was raining). This was appreciated as we had our global roaming turned off. They struck the right balance between helpful and unobtrusive.

  : We were welcomed by Kathryn with a pot of tea and delicious cake. The house is restful and delightfully furnished. Bed very comfortable. The breakfast was superb and the fruit plate a work of art. Photo attached.Budleigh is hilly and ideally you need a car to find a place to eat. There is a good bus service for visits to Sidmouth, Exeter and pretty Topsham. Budleigh beach and cliffs are a perfect place to sit. And 3 miles away Otterton is a level walk (I'm told!) along the River Otter where early evening otters and beavers may be seen.I enjoyed my stay and Kathryn s warm hospitality. Very pretty garden and conservatory to enjoy. Thankyou !
