  : Lovely welcoming pub with a roaring fire. Kind and helpful staff. Food is excellent.
  : We stayed in January and despite the electric heaters, the room was a little cold. There was no extra blankets provided. Fortunately we had a hot water bottle with us. Room is a decent size with good lightening and clean.

  : Dinner was delicious - pie!Breakfast was locally sourced and they even went beyond and cooked 2 sausages for our dog Rio.
  : Bit grubby in places eg: doors to loos and into bedroom block and generally felt it needed a good anti bac!

  : The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. The bar was warm and welcoming.
  : The corridor leading to the guest rooms was a bit smelly and I worried for the state of the room but actually the room itself was fine and very clean. Be warned its a bit of a trek up a set of exterior stairs to the room - not easy unless travelling light. The free wifi didn't quite reach the room and I had problems logging on and maintaining signal (first world problem!).

  : The breakfast was very good, freshly cooked and plentiful. We had dinner there on two evenings, and the food was superb, with an imaginative menu. Congratulations to the Chef!
  : It would have been nice to have had at least one easy chair in the bedroom. There was no option other than sitting on the bed to watch TV or read. But the super-kingsize bed was extremely comfortable for sleeping!

  : COMMUNITY OWNED AND CARED FOR, AND IT SHOWS, WITH GREAT ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND SERVICE EVEN DURING THIS PANDEMIC...... THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE WITH A SUPERKING SIZED BED AND NO DISTURBANCES AT NIGHT GIVING A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP. WE FORGOT A PHONE CHARGER WHEN WE LEFT AND WITH ONE PHONE CALL IT WAS PUT ASIDE FOR US TO COLLECT ON OUR RETURN JOURNEY (ALTHOUGH THEY DID OFFER TO POST IT ON)
  : NOTHING TO FAULT IT WHATSOEVER.
