  : Extremely disappointing customer service with no working television in room for father and son stay , totally unhelpful response or help to fix the issue . Their response on a refund was basically nothing can be done as was booked via booking.com. They have since totally ignored booking.com customer service emails for request to address complaint. Can understand things break but shocking to not respond in any way at all.

  : The location was beautiful, stunning grounds, quiet away from traffic.Only 20min to beach.Friendly staff.Excellent vegan breakfast-lush tasty sausage.Staff welcoming, polite and efficient at breakfast. (Thank you for my excellent cappuccino) that I enjoyed drinking sat outside.Quick and simple check in and out.Building was fabulous, lots of character features and could feel the history in the environment.Clean room, modern bathroom, lovely fresh cotton bedding.
  : There was nothing to dislike really.Mattress a little soft for my liking and a few "blemishes" on the paintwork in the room but nothing that affected my stay. Old building=wear and tear. Not a problem for me.

  : The room was large and the bed was comfy. The breakfast was a buffet which i prefer (as you can pick and choose favourite items) but not very hot and the buffet lids and serving spoons were clumsy and too hot to touch making the food difficult to access. The grounds are lovely and parking is plentiful. The reception staff were pleasant but seem to be completely short staffed.
  : I had to wait at reception for 10 to 15 mins before anyone came. There was no call bell on the desk but the receptionist eventually arrived back with a coffee for herself... I knew there was no elevator but there was no-one available to help carry bags which was a struggle to the top floor, particularly up the narrow upper staircase. I found a carton of heavily mouldy chinese takeaway food in a drawer in the dressing table that was definitely there for ages. On reporting it to the receptionist, she was mortified and very apologetic but it gives me the horrors about what else isn't checked or cleaned... The breakfast wasnt very hot but the buffet lids and serving spoons were clumsy and too hot to touch making the food difficult to access. Generally speaking, the decor is shabby throughout and needs a lot of tlc.

  : The staff were vrilliant and made my dogs feel like they were VIP guests. Room was clean and comfortable, dog treats provided! Decor in the hotel is a mix of old and newer but still stunning
  : shower needed a little TLC and a deep clean, the breakfasts are not very intolerance friendly, though they tried to accomodate me. If you are vegan or Veggie i imagine there won't be much.
