  : The room was disgusting Dirty bath Before entering the property where the rooms are it look like a bird massacre feathers everywhere in the courtyard going into the building up the stairs Got into the room not a pleasant smell Bathroom was dirty with a couple of dirty towels in the bath The pillows were so flat you only get one we asked for a couple more but none arrived The bar downstairs shit at 10pm We were not told how to check out in the morning as long as we were gone between 10am -11am We slept on top of the duvet fully clothed It defiantly had been hoovered but cobwebs everywhere and dirty walls There is nothing we liked about this place and speaking to locals in the evening around other public houses they all said why are you staying there No one we spoke to rated the hotel at all

  : location was ideal as my sons family needed to be in Halstead itself.
  : the overall cleanliness was very poor, dirty cutlery and a broken double bed which was not replaced. no cleaning equipment such as a dustpan and brush or broom was provided. No iron or ironing board although one was provided promptly when requested, this was the only positive.

  : Constant noise for about 15 minutes after midnight. Air con didnt work - machine taken to 28 degrees and still chucked out cold air. Radiator didnt work. Big rat seen running across the car park. Very poor.
