  : Carpet in room was filthy with lots of stains, it looked it hadn’t been vacuumed. It would be nice if there was coffee and tea facilities in the rooms. A pre warning at check in that we had to pre order breakfast before 10pm.

  : Having to order breakfast the day before, which we missed! No towels in some of the rooms and no facilities to make a brew. In one of the rooms there was the offer of bottles of water but no in the others. Reported a broken toilet seat which was literally placed back on but slid everywhere. Carpets could also do with a clean.

  : Prices on display need to be updated as not accurate neither were contact details re times for management. Bar opening hours didn't reflect the actual opening times. Bed was so uncomfortable you could feel every spring in the mattress

  : The check-in was good and staff pleasant, offered car parking for £9.50 which made life easier. Explained facilities well.
  : The room was tiny and mostly clean, but would benefit from simple things like a lamp at bedside table.The bathroom was tiny and old fashioned. A headboard on the bed would improve the room and comfort.

  : Very disappointed as we stayed here a couple of years ago and it was fantastic that's why we came back . Only thing that was good was the selection of drinks behind the bar .
  : What did we like ... customer service was terrible, rooms were not clean ( we stayed here a couple of years ago and was amazing hence why we came back ) couldn't believe how much its gone down hill . Didn't sleep due to noise in the hotel people coming in all hours of the night shouting , seagulls outside of window all night , shower not working properly , and to top it off we didn't have any towels for out arrival then went down to reception and were told towels will be put in our room and come back from being out a couple of hours and still no towels eventually got them when we asked again . When checking in it says to keep ringing the door bell as they might be upstairs doing the rooms waited at least 20 mins just to get someone to come and let us in and still the customer service was horrendous , this was a birthday weekend away and gift , was very disappointed as paid alot of money .

  : No staff at the property when we needed anything, there was no light in the bathrooms and the windows was broken it was cold in the room and had no breakfast or dinners

  : Fantastic location Parking available Could not fault the staff one bit when they were there they went above and beyond Activity room and pool table
  : Cleanliness, the hotel could make small simple changes to clean/update the rooms/landings which would not cost much and would make a massive differenceRooms were very small but can’t complain much as the price was very cheapTowels not in the room? Staff put them in once we requested at reception but I think if they put the towels in before you enter the room it would be much betterNo brewing facilities in the room however there is a machine downstairs but this didn’t work on the last day (again staff came to sort once they were in but having a brewing tray in each room would be better)Ran out of toilet roll in the morning, rang the bell and no one came from reception until lunch time, the website and signs in reception state the times the staff start and finish however it was different when we are there, there seems to be a staffing issue as the staff that did see us were fantastic and extremely friendly just not enough of them.This hotel has potential to be great it just needs a bit of time and money spent on it and it would be spot on.
