  : Its not a hotel , the bar wasnt open and only breakfast available , we didnt want to eat there but it would have been nice to have a drink . Its very dated but i knew this as I had read reviews, bed was uncomfortable pillows lumpy, shower was a drizzle and didnt get very warm and the shower door didnt close .. Our room was above the laundry room ( room 1) and the sound of washing machines had me awake early hours..so got no sleep ..We was first down for breakfast , was given a menu and the waitress wanted our choices straight away , i ordered scrambled egg my husband had full English , my egg looked like an omelette on 1 slice of bread , started to eat it and half of the egg was undercooked and looked Like snot I told the waitress I couldnt eat it and asked if i could just had sime toast to which she pointed to my husbands toast and said he has toast , Then the lady who owns or runs the place came over and asked me why I returned my breakfast I said well it was overcooked and somehow undercooked too and she agreed she saw it and it didnt look like scrabbled egg and could she make me some more I declined and asked it i could just have some toast , which i got but only toasted on one side , my husband said his breakfast was ok but wasnt hot and definatley not cooked fresh. The tea was nice , It is very close to the bus stop to get into birmingham . very dissapointing stay , I would definatley not reccomend this place

  : Althogh the decour was dated, the bed was comfortable and the room a good size. The shower wasn't good. The staff were really nice and helpful.
