Disappointing

  : Just toast and jam,cearels,friendly staff, rooms need updating, shower needs a lot of work.

  : It was easy to find and quite homely. The staff were friendly on check in and when going to the bar for drinks. The beer garden right outside the door to the rooms was a boone for some pre and post-event drinking. Car park was big enough for several cars to park safely.The bed was very comfortable, although it didnt really look it at first glance. Shower was effective and large enough to use comfortably.
  : The breakfast was underwhelming. It is described as a continental breakfast but in reality its a bunch of cereals of unknown age and bread in a box, with a fridge and kettle nearby. Youre entirely left to your own devices with it, no staff are nearby to replenish anything or provide anything fresh. The butter, coffee, sugar, etc was low quality. The experience would really benefit from an actual proper breakfast service but its possible there is no staff around in the morning? Plan to find breakfast somewhere else (can recommend Merkins Farm close by)The room was very basic, but it at least had a sink close by for brushing teeth etc without having to use the shared bathroom. I didnt personally have any issues with the room, particularly in the condition I was in, but its worth noting that its basic.

  : It was really excellent value for money. The room was clean and comfortable, we enjoyed the serve yourself breakfast and the staff were friendly and helpful.
  : I would have liked to eat in the pub but it closed too early for us to manage that.

  : Clean fresh comfy beds. Rooms have all you need for a good night's stay. Breakfast room is pleasant and accessible for the duration of your stay. Pub has plenty of character, good food and a lovely garden.
  : Bathrooms are a little dated but fully functional. Breakfast is a little lacking as it's just toast and cereal. Some juice would be good for those that don't drink tea or coffee.

  : Nice to have a separate entrance to accommodation via the beer garden. Comfy beds for an overnight stay.
  : No coffee machine/ fresh coffee available in the morning! I needed to walk to the National Trust coffee shop as soon as poss for my morning drink.....
