  : Room was same as pictures.. very nice helpful/patient staff Thank you Jake /Owen..liked being able to park outside room but is 1st come 1st served parking..but was more by chance to/..restaurant food was excellent especially Meat Pie/ice cream..gorgeous..well done to chef..and loved the farm creamy ice cream best iv ever tasted..lovely pub interior..
  : My observations...booking.com on booking had given opportunity to 'pay at property' so I chose it..but 3 days before our stay I got a message saying 'credit card declined' which was no reason for!? It turned out that by talking to Jake to sort it..booking.com had wrong Motel policy ...and they do require payment before....so that appeared to be a problem between them/..Car parking with only few motel rooms available they should be numbered to rooms..as reason I booked a Motel was to park right outside room...we did but more by chance/opportunity...as pub parking is same area...was a big enough car park for pub/..Stained carpets inside room/..wobbly bedside cabinet/..asked for quiet room, was allocated room next/nearest to pub garden eventho we booked weeks before...however to be fair room was well insulated for sound so could only hear chitter chatter and music in bear garden very little..and noise died down when pub closed/..few stains on clean white bed covers...this should have been noticed by bed maker/..also as I bent down to pick something up up came someone else's hair too!...so not vacuumed properly although it looked like it had been..also in shower room..I bent to wipe floor from my few shower splashes but tissue came up grey so floor not been mopped obvious to me/..no breakfast available but I knew this on booking but chose it re Motel parking outside room as didnt want to unload bags from car/..Never had to sign a paper before anywhere else ever for an up to £100 charge extra if room damaged or losses especially as having to leave door unlocked and'leave key on bed' till staff came in lunch time!! we left about 9.30 am...after all having to sign for damages or losses....the other room person saw us leave !!....IF they'd been type to think to steal .. we'd have had losses applied to us !!!but a nice stay non the less...the pub food and nice staff made up for it...
