Disappointing

  : Very dog friendly. Good food. The owners surprised us with doing up our room for our anniversary which was really nice.The owners are nice people.
  : Lacking attention to detail I.e. supply coffee machine with coffee pod dish with unequal amounts of coffee to milk. Upon cleaning bathroom didn't check if shower gel was full. Drunks came banging into door and then creating noise in there room, what sounded like sick in there bathroom. On one occasion when we came back to park our car, Roger was jet washing his driveway, we had to wait in the road for him to allow us to park up, strange why this sort of work isn't carried out when no guests present. In the morning we had mud splatter all over side and roof of our car and the car next to us.For a double room it would have been nice to have 2 chairs, as only one chair in the room we had to sit on the bed all the time.Bedside clock is to bright at night and the supplied USB Charger it has was in efficient and couldn't charge our phones.The heating sometimes would be on when needed so room felt damp at times.Cooking smells coming into room.Lots of road noise so you could leave a window open for long.Just expect more for the price we had to pay. However it didn't spoil our visit around the area.

  : The breakfast is exceptional. Roger has a really good selection of nutritious choices, including catering for different dietary requirements. Some cooked breakfasts can often be very oily but this is not the case here and was very well-balanced and beautifully presented with care taken over it. The bed was also very comfortable! It's a really great location.
  : Very minor thing, but given that they popped in to make the bed and clean each day, it would be nice if they'd provided more toilet paper

  : The facilities were really good, breakfast was delicious and the bedroom/bathroom was super clean and cozy. It was a wonderful area to hike and I have enjoyed it a lot. The owners were absolutely fantastic people, super kind! However I thought dinner was a bit expensive, but it did taste amazing!
