  : Manager was very un friendly we had a extractor fan continually running in room next door he didn't like us telling him rest of staff very good,

  : Missed out on croissants the first morning but we got extra on the second as they only had plain yoghurt. Enjoyed breakfast in bed and not having to rush to get ready for breakfast.
  : Soft closing doors upstairs. Lots of banging doors from adjoining rooms.

  : Perfect location for walking. Food was good quality. Lots of amenities close by. We had a lovely few days away.
  : No cooked breakfast (not clear this was the case on booking) and not a great offering for continental breakfast in the room. We had no cutlery so had to go looking for some as no one around in the mornings. Restaurant food ordering and bar area was all a little chaotic at times.

  : Nice place in great location in middle of village. Staff were friendly and efficient and beer choice was good and beer very well kept. Room was nice and spacious with views over village centre. Parking was easy for us on an April mid-week break but might be trickier at busier times. The Village Stores - just across the road - does very nice takeaway rolls which are ideal to take on your walk.
  : Not so much a dislike as poor management of expectations really. The Vietnamese king prawn curry did not contain king prawns. It was nice and flavoursome and had it been advertised as a Vietnamese prawn curry there'd be no issue (I wouldn't have queried the nationality of the prawns!). Also the 'continental' breakfast wasn't very continental. I'm sure they do serve porridge, weetabix, and coco pops etc on the continent but again it wasn't quite as expected. Also they could do wiith something other than cafe au lait in the coffee machine pods (though adding a sachet of nescafe to this did make a reasonable strength coffee}. A bathroom mat would have been nice as the floor was a bit chilly during overnight loo visits!
