  : I contacted the property on the morning of our stay as there were large damp patches in every room and a musty smell throughout. We had to sleep with the windows open it was that bad as we were coughing (Im 6 months pregnant so it wasnt healthy conditions). Ive still not had a response from the owner after chasing through here and Sykes cottages after 2 weeks. Ive been holding off from leaving a review in case we were contacted with a resolution, but unfortunately there has been no response. Unfortunately, the pictures dont do it justice, it was worse in real life. Additionally (not as bad as the damp issue but still needs mentioning) it says on the booking.com listing parking is available for one car. This isnt correct and needs updating. We paid around 28. Sykes sent an email about parking charges and when I queried this they told me the info was out of date on booking.com and I had to contact them to resolve it.
