Disappointing
Traveller Type:
  : the location was good, that's about it. the owner was lovely and helped us book a taxi.
  : the rooms were worn out, no shower gel, the shower pipe had a cut and hence water was spilling everywhere, the electric switch where we put the key in fell out and the lights were gone. would not stay again. the property looked nothing like the pictures, there is the reception which is about 2 min walk from where the rooms are, on a different street, hence could not contact anyone when the switch broke.

  : the location is great. taksim square is very close like everything around it. it is not necessary to go across Taksim Square to stiklal Caddesi
  : it needs a little more cleanliness, bathroom, under the bed, balcony, etc. satellite program on TV, a little more dishes in the kitchen....

  : Positive1. Location was near Taksim Square.2. Uber works in Istanbul.Negative1.Food is expensive and portions are small so be ready to fork out.2.Everywhere you go, you shall be harassed by people that want to sell your perfumes.3.All attractions are expensive so be prepared again to dig deep.
  : 1. The room was never cleaned.2. No Tea cups/Mugs and a basic frying pan supplied even though it states that cutlery and basic kitchen items are supplied.3. The sink tap was not actually connected to the wash basin.4. The hand soap that was supplied ran out and was never replaced in the week my family stayed at the apartment.5. The bedsheets were never swapped for the 6 nights we stayed.6. The air conditioning units leaked water that flooded the room. I raised this issue but nothing was done.7. The floor in each room was filthy and never cleaned.8. The TV did not have any channels that worked, luckily I had my fire stick or we wouldn't have been able to make use of the TV.9. The internet was slow and disconnected often.10. The sofa was apparently sold as a sofa bed but it was just a regular sofa.11. Many of the sockets in the room didn't actually work.12. There was no sound proofing so you can hear people upstairs doing special things that couples do. 13. The washing machine was also broken.14. The bedsheets were filthy and covered in various bits from the previous families that stayed.15. The table in the room was uneven so it was difficult to use it due to fear of items falling off.16. There was a single toilet roll supplied to a family of 6 people for a week and never replaced. So we had to purchase our own toilet paper.17. They don't have a 24 hour desk as we found out on the last day of our stay when leaving the hotel at 5am. There was nowhere to leave our key, so I left it in our hotel room and left a message with the hotel via the booking.com app.I raised the above issue with booking.com but they can't do much as it's the mercy of the people that own the hotel. The pictures are not accurate.

  : The property is very simple but satisfies all the needs for 1-2 nights perfectly. Was happy to see a refrigerator, kettle and be able to leave my stuff at the reception
  : The bathroom has some mold and there is no toilet paper holder, the kitchen has no mugs, only one glass. The refrigerator is full of ice. All of this seems to be fairly simple fixes for the owners to make the place top-notch!

  : Host is good and friendly. Location is right next to the Taksim square main road so that's a plus. Also good value for money.
  : Sheets could've been cleaner earlier, wifi is kind of slow sometimes, but not that big of an issue. No elevators btw - so you have to climb a lot of stairs.
