  : The location was really good with a beautiful view to Little Hagia Sophia mosque, but the room was in the late summer unbearable hot, we felt like in a glass house - I think the room is a balcony transformed to a poor room.
  : The room was unbearable hot in the summer and very small. No possibility to make some shadow and without air conditioner we would die - the air conditioner blowed for 10 mins only hot air... The cleannes was questionable, but the personal was friendly. Fortunatally we stayed only for 1 night. Next time we will be more throughgoing by checking the accomodation.

  : Not much, when they cancel your booking.
  : First, on the day of my arrival at Sofia Corner Hotel I received a notification from the hotel that they can't process my card, namely:"Sofia Corner Hotel notified us that they couldn't process your credit card for the following reason: Your credit card number is incorrect. Please check your card details or use another one."I had just boarded the plane to Istanbul and I reentered my card information, very carefully. When I arrived at the hotel they told me the same - they couldn't process my card and that they have no room for my anymore. The young man at the reception was polite but spoke no English. Somehow we exchanged a few words and he said that he will accommodate us at a nearby hotel, for the same price and we'll have breakfast next morning back at Sofia Corner Hotel. Exhausted from travelling and needing a place to rest, we agreed, although very disappointed because of this change. The young man carried our luggage to that nearby hotel. However, the nearby hotel gave us a very small room with a stinky bathroom which made the whole room stink all the time. Also, the reason I choose Sofia Corner Hotel was because it was a calm place to stay, whereas the nearby hotel was right on the corner of a busy street with a lot of traffic and honking, even at night!

  : This is one of the dirtiest hotels I have ever stayed at. When we entered the room, the bathroom was dirty. There were hairs all over the toilet, as well as the sink. It can be seen that the bathroom has not been cleaned from the previous guests. It is a great shame. Also, the sheets were dirty and we had to immediately ask them to bring us a new one and to clean the bathroom. Everywhere is very dirty and messy. The breakfast is very bad and every morning is the same. I'm also posting pictures for you all to see. This hotel should be avoided.

  : Breakfast was fine, location was great - very close to Sultan Ahmet Square. Host boy(I don't know the name) was very hospitable and helpful, he kept our baggage for 7 hours after check out. The hotel had nice terrace also.
  : Towels and bedsheets were dirty, they had dirt spots. Bathroom was dirty, floor and furniture was dusty. It was much better from pictures. The only thing they changed during our stay was toilet paper. :)

  : The location of the property is very good and the terrace has a nice view.
  : The place was generally very dirty. The toilet smelled like sewerage and the smell came in the room as well. The sheets were dirty with some stains on it. There was no elevator and the stairs were really narrow. The AC did not work on the first day, but it was repaired on the second day. Breakfast was always the same and the variety of it was minimal. We also bought a SIM card from the receptionist and the cards they sell are not registered, so I got an SMS a few days later that my new SIM card would be blocked soon, if the registration was not done in the following days.

  : Fantastic location within walking distance to the sights. Lovely helpful staff and great breakfast. Great hotel to immerse yourself in the culture of Istanbul
  : Though I didnt have a problem, there is no lift, only stairs to the rooms and the mattress was very firm.

  : Staff were friendly, breakfast was included and quite filling
  : Hotel and room were filthy, bathroom smelt like sewage, Booking.com reviews were not representative of hotel, no safe for passport etc. Even for a cheap place, the lack of cleanliness is not excusable, especially when Booking.com gives a high score for this.

  : Great location and teracce. The guy at the reception was very kind. We could leave our luggage here.
  : It could use some cleaning. Dirty behind bed and the shower was not the cleanest. Breakfast average.
