  : We stayed at the Alabora Hotel in Alacati for 5 days in May. We were happy with our selection. The hotel is in a quiet location and the two sisters who run the hotel and other staff were very friendly. The breakfast was prepared with love and tasted good. Every day there was a different hot meal. The room was a little small but the bed was very comfortable, we had a good wifi connection and a safe. The rooms are cleaned on request, which we didn't know from other boutique hotels and which we weren't told when we arrived. If you need new towels, etc., you will probably get them as part of the requested room cleaning.
  : The only tiny drawback was that our room was next to the kitchen and every morning very early, sometimes as early as 6am, we would hear noises from the corridor that would wake us up. But that's no reason for us not to book the hotel. You may also be able to request a room on the lower or upper floor. It should be quieter there.
