  : The host Maxim was easily reachable and readily answered all questions. He met us at the apartment and explained how things work. The apartment was situated quite close to the metro station which was very convenient to reach all other places in and around Moscow city.
  : We did not expect that there will be no place to park the taxi in front of the apartment to unload the luggage and had to go around a bit. We also did not expect that although there is a lift in the building we still will need to lift the luggage through one floor initially at the ground level and half a floor at the apartment level. It was a bit strenuous with heavy luggage for us in our sixties.

  : This is the right place to get away from the tourist crowds and live among the average Muscovites. In less than ten minutes’ walk you reach two Metro stations (Taganskaya and Marksistkaya), from where you can easily get to the Kremlin, the Bolshoi Theatre and many other places of interest.Good shopping centres and supermarkets are nearby (Perekrestok supermarket, on Marksistkaya Street is highly reccommendable) and during our stay a delikatessen shop opened next door, with an excellent range of salads, pastries, chocolates and cakes.The flat is well kept, with all the essentials and a very fast wi-fi connection. However, the TV offer is limited to Russian language channels.The owner is very helpful and within easy reach by e-mail or telephone.
  : The building in general could do with better cleaning and maintenance. If you come with heavy luggage, a note of warning: there are two flights of stairs to be negotiated before you reach the lift.
