  : The location is fantastic -close to bars, restaurants and the beach. The main terrace is a real bonus - it looks out over the beach, with wonderful views, particularly of the sunset. It also gets the sun for most of the day. The apartment is large, with three double sized rooms. The response and help from the host was great - just a phone call away. It was amazing value and we had a great time, despite the weather.
  : The property could benefit from some updating, eg, bathrooms, new towels and additional glassware. But for the price being charged, the property is great value.

  : Ribeira Brava is a lovely village with great amenities (restaurants, shops, museum, beach) and this flat is perfectly situated to access all of them. The property is of a good size in a beautiful location overlooking the ocean.
  : On arrival one toilet didn't work and the other was in a bathroom where no lights worked. The kitchen was infested with ants. Mosquitoes were a problem throughout. The place needs new soft furnishings including mosquito blinds, new cutlery, crockery and glassware (there were just two miss-matched wine glasses in the place), and kitchen equipment (we found no corkscrew). Above all it needs a thorough deep clean - the mould on the shower is appalling. If fully rectified the place could be wonderful.
