: The apartment is located in the closest to the beach village in Quinta do Lago. And it has a great view from the balcony (you can see the lake and the sea/beach). It's also in a very quiet zone as it faces the back of the village. Internet is fast and works well.
: The flat was not cleaned before we checked-in. It was actually disgusting. I have pictures that prove it. Full of dust and hairs everywhere - between the beds and the bedside table, under the toilet seat, in the bathroom/bath, etc. I reported it to the person who checked us in, he promise to call the "cleaning team" asap, but he didn't (which is even worse - he broke a promise). I saw a mop and broom and thought of cleaning it myself. But both had millions of hairs, and I actually made it worse. Ended up cleaning the bathroom floor wit wet wipes. The towels were shabby and old. Some lamps were burnt. The TV would not play anything (the box was unplugged and I'm not on holiday to play a TV technician). The kitchen is a disgrace with 30 year-old appliances. The kitchen ware (cutlery, pans, etc.) was all dirty (we had to wash it by hand before we used it). If you open the dish-washer you can no longer move in the kitchen (literally). No toilet paper, soap or bath wash provided (something any rural tourism / local accommodation prides itself to provide). Living room doesn't have a sofa (it's a shabby sofa-bed).

: The host was great and location ok. The pool is also nice.
: The bed was super uncomfortable with the worst pillows I have ever experienced. The furniture was old, with broken ornaments as decorations. The shower had a wooden curtain over the window which meant it was mouldy. There was a coffee maker, but no pods to make coffee, and no welcome pack with even just a bottle of water for arrival.
