  : The park around was beautiful, the staff was polite and knew English.
  : The air-conditioning was so loud we couldn't sleep. The meal was very expensive and small.

  : The breakfast was a buffet of mostly cold food,and the hot food was scrambled egg only.There was only one resturant for all meals and it was the same menu every time. The resturant at night was empty no atmosphere, the food was cold,but my daughter did not like the fish it was cold in the middle and she did not eat it,we mentioned this to the waiter and the check out,but he said oh ! Nothing else. The resturant was very expensive and did not deliver , image of restaurant enclosed , see for yourself .
  : We arrived by taxi and had to wait quiet a while for the gate to open , then we wandered to check in. Very poor greeting, took us to our accommodation which was nothing like the image that we booked, it was concrete and dark and unkept , cold, we went back and asked as to where the wooden houses were as we were there for that, he said they cost more so we upgraded but felt it was very misleading not to show the actual place you were booking, if you look at it on booking it shows the wooden houses. The whole place was quiet , he said only one restaurant was open and the spa. The staff were not unfriendly but definitely not enthusiastic , overall I would rate it as a 3 star, and sadly we did not enjoy the experience it was flat .2/10 and felt the images did not show the now very tired interiors . There is a lot to be done here that a white bathrobe abd a good shower does not fix. Bikes were provided , that had no breakers and were not usable . Overall all that was promised in the image , the description and the service , I did not see any of it , and I really wanted to fall in love with the concept. I love Portugal and this is my only bad review in the past ten years , and I got a lot of my recommendations from Jo&So , which is reliable . The whole place needed a freshen up, coffee maker not great doors difficult to open . It was not really cosy with rugs and throws , but very basic and nothing cozy . It is an expensive resort at 250 a night and just did not deliver on that level . The staff were not great if the croissants were gone for breakfast, sorry they are gone, coffee was not great and atmosphere was non exsistent and very old fashioned . I would not recommend
