  : very nice welcoming (even in Dutch). What a view, you can see the sea and portimao. Very nice room, big sized and comfortable beds. Little treats of chocolates and free water and a personalized little welcome card. Everything you want to make you feel at home. Breakfast was really nice with nice fresh pastry, orange juice, delicious yoghurt that were (I think) home made and on top of that you can have any egg you want. The bath products of Rituals... omg soooo great because of the bad weather I could not enjoy the garden and the pool, so I will need to come back ;-)
  : to get such a nice view, you need to get high up in the mountains and hence my little car needed to go through some very narrow and steep roads to get there. Bathroom is not superbig compared to the rest of the room and balcony, it didn't really bother me, but it was more the contrast with the large room that was striking.

  : The setting is amazing , if a little difficult to find.
  : Nothing to dislike, the pool needs some maintenance in the winter & finding the time breakfast was served proved a little difficult but very minor things

  : Great location, lovely staff who were very helpful. Rooms were a great size and comfortable beds. Nice breakfast too.

  : Lovely location. Staff all very helpful, warm and welcoming. Lovely that we could do walks in the hills directly from the property and the hotel would do us a packed lunch.
  : There were no rooms in the main building when I booked so we opted for the studio, which is described as being 50m from the Reception area. However, this 50m is a vertical measurement and there are approximately 140 granite steps to descend and climb to reach the dining room. To trek up and down these each time we wanted to eat breakfast or swim or walk to a local restaurant was quite taxing. I have since checked on the website and booking.com and cannot see that I missed this in the description. Unfortunately, the studio was also designed like a wood cabin so was rather dark inside, with a water pump kicking in and out every few minutes through the night.
