  : the location was good, it was clean and well decorated. the hostess was really friendly and kind. there is a well organised kitchen for those who want to cook their meals in the house.
  : the bathroom was very small, there was humidity. I would not recommend it for winter vacation.

  : Great location and a well laid out apartment. The apartment is very close to the castle and well served by both bus and tram. The side street it is on is quiet and peaceful. There are other rental apartments above but no excessive noise. The apartment has recently been refurbed in "the IKEA style" and is generally well presented and clean. I'd recommend it to friends.
  : Communications were generally very good, Jaoa responded quickly and resolved a minor query. However, this was followed up by an email from the CEO of the rental agent referring to me as a "most demanding customer" and asking that I dispose of any litter in the apartment, this despite a 45 euro cleaning charge. The refurb on this apartment is generally very good but no proper door or handle on the built in fridge and a strange smell in one of the cupboards suggesting that an underlying issue has not been dealt with.

  : Cute but TINY apartment. The manager was super helpful and friendly. The flat was very clean and has everything needed for a short stay. Extra thoughtful to have a water filter jug to deal with the chlorinated taste of Lisbon's tap water. Bed was very comfortable.
  : Not for anyone taller than 175cm! The flat is in an old small house. I am 190cm tall and had to walk permanently bent over to not hit my head on door frames and angled ceilings. Extremely uncomfortable and claustrophobic. My friend could just barely walk through the lowest door and he is 175cm tall. The other downside is that this is an extremely touristic area with hordes of people walking around. The apartment is also a steep climb up a hill, right next to the entrance to the old fort and Uber drivers are not allowed to get all the way up there. Cannot recommend it unless you are below 175cm and really want to live close to the old fort on the hill.

  : The room was very nice, clean, comfortable. It is perfect for a solo traveler. It has everything you might need. No one bothers you. The host was helpfull and nice. It has a good location - near Sao Gorge Castle. Overall I strongly recommend it for a solo traveler!

  : Very small and cosy. Reasonably well equipped kitchen (with the all-important bottle opener and corkscrew!). Kettle, but no coffee machine. Small, appropriate condiments from previous guests are allowed to remain, so that there is a bit a salt, cooking oil etc. The host was in regular email contact and was very obliging, professional and friendly. He gave good instructions and was always quick to reply. The location is very central, but high up near the castle. If you plan to do Lisbon on foot, everything is a walk away.
  : It can get very warm and it felt necessary to sleep with the windows open. I suggested to the host that a fan would be excellent in the bedroom and he has taken this on board - so there may be one there soon! It is not loud, but there are the 'sounds of the city', so be prepared for this. The bathroom is extremely small, though functional. For information, you will be asked to email a photo of your identification and credit card before arrival.

  : I killed more than one cockroach, perhaps 3. The place was unclean and there were cockrachs and spiders. The sofa was full of dust and dirt. There is no air conditioning. The bathroom is very small and uncomfortable
