  : The property was well equipped, the kitchen had plenty of plates and cutlery, washing items, washing machine. The flat is spacious for a small family (nice to have two bathrooms). The city center can be reached in about 30 minutes by foot and the local buses stop right outside. There are small convenience stores and several restaurants in the vicinity.
  : It was difficult to keep the bathroom floor dry when showering. Light sleepers might find the traffic noise from the street an issue.

  : The apartment is decent with a good layout and clean. The area was close enough to the down town that you can get there in a long walk or short taxi ride.
  : Cheap furniture meant that many things were broken, including chairs and tables. There was absolutely no basics to cater for short stays - no salt, oil, soap, shampoo, kitchen tissue, or coffee capsules. The kitchen utensils were also limited - no decent sized pans or cups. And to top it off, the hosts weren't very responsive or helpful in resolving things. A cold relationship with their guests. On the contrary, we had an amazing stay in Porto with a completely opposite experience.

  : We enjoyed the neighborhood. While on a very busy street, the apartment has sound proof windows and black out shades. It was nice to be out of the center, but just a short walk away. The apartment was attractively furnished, if a little sterile. The kitchen was very well equipped and had quality dishes, glassware. The apartment is small, but not uncomfortable for three or four people.
  : Only one small bath towel and hand towel was provided for each of us. For a stay of nine days, we thought this was inadequate, particularly since the washer/dryer combo only really washes and the outside clothes line was inaccessible due to the renovation of the kitchen. When we asked for another set of towels for each of us we were told we would have to pay for laundry in order to get these. Stingy, in our opinion. We also were provided with only one set of keys to the apartment. This was very inconvenient when traveling with others who dont share the same agenda all day every day. When we asked for another set, we were refused. There were also several pieces of furniture that were broken when we arrived. One broken table was stored on the small balcony, the other was still in use in one of the bedrooms, but had a broken leg and could only stand up by leaning it against the bed. The closet door in one bedroom was falling off it hinges, also. We informed the management of this but nothing was done about it. The door to the small balcony also stopped locking. Management was informed of this, as well, but no action taken. Finally, the apartment could use more lamps or dimmers on the ceiling fixtures. They were so bright one could hardly stay in the room certainly couldnt have a cozy gathering or meal in the living/dining area. It would also have been nice to have a note about the size of coffee pod the espresso machine uses, or some samples. We ended up buying the wrong size, as there was no guide to this.
