  : Electrical issues. Only 1 wall plug worked but it had a power bar. The wall plugs in the bedroom were broken. The light bulbs were low. No bulb on the terrace. When the washer was on nothing in the kitchen can be used or the power would go out. The air conditioner did not work. It was hot at night but some nights you had to keep the outside doors open to get air.The TV has 5 channels all in Portuguese. The mattresses in the bedroom were too soft for my liking, I could not get comfortable. I used the pull-out couch but the 10 cm (3 inch) mattress was so uncomfortable I can feel the metal springs.You need a car. It is about a 40 minute walk to town going up and down hills. Taxis are hard to find. I waited 90 minutes for a taxi. I had to rent a car.The pool is in 2 buildings over but it is accessible from the 4th floor corridor in the buildingYou have to really like the terrace to like this place. Maybe it's worth the electrical issues. No A/C in the hot summer will be an issue.It's a tired apartment with many upgrades required.The terrace was fantastic and private which kind of makes my review somewhat passable.
