  : I normally don't like leaving bad reviews. But in this case, it's warranted as there's potential for improvement. Full disclosure, we didn't spend a night there only half a day, and then moved to another hotel. And the booking was prepaid non refundable for 3 nights, but I still think we made the right choice even if it's money out the window.So the room was just not in a very good condition. It was the loudest hotel room I've ever been in. Sounds dramatic but the door might as well not be there. You can hear EVERYTHING from the hallway.The bathroom is literally falling apart.The shower was dripping a lot. Told the staff. Their solution was to just turn the shower head upwards. Apparently this one weird trick that gravity hates should solve the problem, but it of course didn't.Asked the reception if we could purchase an upgrade. The staff (or at least one of the staff members, unfortunately didn't get his name) was good. But they were not authorised to sell an upgrade. So they had to call their manager. Who never called back.And that I guess explains why the check in staff seemed to not care about hospitality; they are obviously not empowered in any way by management, which is a shame. That's not how you get the best staff performance. Empower your employees to upsell; it'll make both your revenue manager and your guests happy.And yes, I know this was a non-ref OTA booking, but you can always upsell regardless.So anyway as the manager never called back, we decided to move to another hotel, and I'm glad we did, as we would not have been able to sleep because of the noise and (very very) dripping shower. Again, it sounds dramatic, and feel free to try it yourself, but cannot overemphasise how loud the room was.

  : The view, the location, comfortable rooms, plentiful breakfast. The staff were very polite, professional and helpful.Restaurants available within walking distance. Try Bom Sabor!! The hotel surpassed our expectations.
  : The coffee! Definitely room for improvement there. The cappuccino from the machine tastes like hot chocolate. Coffee with milk tasted a bit watered down. It would be great if staff could prepare carafes of hot coffee and milk for guests that like "American" style coffee with their breakfast. On the bright side, for espresso lovers, they have a machine that makes short and long shots.Carpets in hallways are a bit worn and need to be replaced.Parking is limited so more spaces would be helpful.

  : Nice hotel, pink, art nova exterior, very well appointed inside. Large bedroom with anti room, very comfortable. Very comfortable bed. Good breakfast.
  : Hadn't realised we'd been booked with dinner included. Whilst this slightly restricted choice, as there was 2 alternatives, the food was very good.
