  : Very good location,near to visit Svalbard,coop,shops and bus stop,very convenient.
  : It's a little bit hard to carry our luggages upstairs,totally everything is fine.

  : Well, first of all, let's start with the fact that this is one of only 3 properties in Svalbard, which can accommodate a group of 4+ in a single unit and is not bunk beds. Best option was taken on our dates so we ended up choosing location over amenities as the third one looked quite nice, but is an Airbnb on the hill northeast of town. We decided staying right in the centre of Longyearbyen is preferable so we went with Svalbard Hotell. Locationwise, we weren't wrong. This is right in the town centre, with the supermarket next door and literary on top of the iconic Svalbar. After trying some of the fancier restaurants in town, we ended up preferring to spend our evenings in Svalbar and had great time for it. We rented the 2-bed apartment which comes with a fully kitted kitchen so it is easy to cook if you'd like to save some money.
  : Not much, but we had a couple of hiccups at check-in. We were 5 but allegedly I had booked for 4 so we were asked to top up the price at check-in. I am fairly certain that booking.com had only one option available to make a reservation, which may not be the case through their website, but I may have got this wrong. As we had no other choice, we had to pay extra. Also, I respect Svalbard's tradition to take off your shoes indoors, but this is a hotel reception and the same bus drops literary everybody from the airport at exactly the same time, with suitcases and ski boots on. We were second on the que, but having to take off your shoes on a tiny matt just inside to check in while people are pushing to escape -18C quickly became a massacre. Finally, the pictures on the 2-bed unit did not match the actual apartment. The bedrooms are small and do not have the extra bunk beds, but instead there is a sofa bed in the living room. As we were 5, that was actually better, but I wanted to mention it, as the space is not suitable for 6, unless they are couples. Also, there is only one bathroom so coming back after an active day or in the mornings, was an 1.5h ordeal.
