  : Staff was really friendly in general. When I asked a couple of days in advance if it was possible to have a vegan dinner in the evening, the owner told me, that they don't do vegan food. None. Not even a plate of vegetables. I was a bit shocked by that answer. We (6 people) went for dinner somewhere else. After dinner we came back to the hotel bar and ordered nuts with olives. It took more than 30 minutes to get them - in the end I am glad we didn't eat there. Also the olives were covered in yoghurt or mayo and the nuts covered with some breadcrumbs. Both probably also not vegan. The owner didn't was serious about no vegan food at all. I organized most of my breakfast myself, which was ok for me. The were really nice to me and check out and only charged me 50 % for the breakfast, which I appreciated. Coffee is really good for dutch standards (crema from a machine). Rooms are nicely decorated for a 3 star hotel. The garden is nice too, location quiet and a little in the woods.

  : After reading other persons reviews which were generally good I booked this hotel for one night. The staff were fine and the bed was reasonably comfortable but that is all that I found good here. Although the gardens are nice with 200+ year old oak trees and the hotel itself has good decor, the remainder was not good. When I asked if there was a vegan option for food I was looked at as if I had grown a second head! They had 2 vegetarian options so I asked if they could do a pasta dish with just fresh vegetables? I was told they were a gourmet restaurant that would not use pasta! The waitress said the chef had found some pasta and would cook it for me.It was bland and had been under seasoned with overcooked vegetables. They wanted to charge me 27 for this average meal worth 10. The next morning they reduced the bill slightly after my complaint. The room was a poky small loft room and was cold as the heater did not work.
