  : The location - ideal for the centre of Hoorn and for free parking in the hotel car park - but it's a devil of a job to find.
  : The room - but that's our fault - we knew it was a converted prison but we didn't like it all the same. The bathroom being in a an alcove. The breakfast all arriving at once - eggs, hot drink, cold drink, cereal, toast - something's going to get cold. It seemed it was the convenience of the staff not the customer. The failure of Booking com to pay the hotel before our arrival (despite an e-mail saying it had). The insistence of the hotel on our paying twice (but with a promise of reimbursement). The failure of the hotel to reimburse us when it said it would.

  : Bathroom and breakfast were not great, not very clean or nice rooms, noisy and light coming through the wall throughout the night. Staff friendly but not particularly helpful. Overall not good value for money.

  : Wifi not working in room 308 and hotel receptionists dont believe you. Shower drain isnt working, water is overflowing to the room. Heaters are insufficient, i caught cold in 2 day stay. Room service didnt bring towels in my second day. And veey tight room with concrete roof truss covering half the room. I hit my head twice to the roof truss... no bottle water in the room, no fridge... this room is worth 20 euro instead of 110 euro per night !
