  : Reception female was on hurry during our check in at 17:15 and she closed the reception right after we enter our room without a tour, direction to our chalet, and/or instructions.Nearest Supermarket is 19 mins walk.Spiders everywhere inside the room.Spiders net in every cornerNo tissue, no drink waterNot enough towels (2 towels for 4 beds)Air conditioner is at living room, there is no air conditioner at bedroomsTV is only 20 inch and is not working LOL.Dishes are dirty with insects, closet has broken hangers and brought from a store like previous guest has left them.Shower is too small where you have to stick yourself to the wall.Toilet is very small that you need to open the door to wear your clothes after.Terrace is at other side of canal (other chalet view).We ask for canal view but I was told all are full although I did not see any other residents during our stay.You are asked to clean the room by yourself before checking out and thro garbage as well at reception rubbish (taking the garbage and through it).They offer Boat rental is 60 (by email) while you can book physically with 25.Parking car is 6 and w I was told (by email) is 8.5

  : Nice location and close to the centre. The studio was clean including the bathroom.
  : We were very disappointed by the lack of amenities, especially if you are planning to stay for a couple of days. First things first, there is no bathmat. When we asked the guy at the reception, he said that they do not provide bathmats anymore because people used to steal them (who would travel to Giethoorn and steal a bathmat? :D If they go by this ridiculous belief then they should stop giving people pillows or towels as people could steal those too!). Anyway, we asked the guy if we could have an additional towel instead of the bathmat but he refused our request and said they dont have any left. We found it very disappointing that they cant provide an extra towel, let alone make an effort to find a solution for the inconvenience. Also, please note that there is no dishwasher so they expect you to clean all your dishes before leaving. We had to purchase a sponge and dish soap because there was only 20ML of dish soap in their so-called fully- equipped kitchen (20 ML for 3 nights in our case)! Another turnoff is that the apartment is not soundproof at all and you can hear voices even if people are just talking. Bottom line, the accommodation is not value for money. If you are booking this place, get ready for some serious packing and bring your handwash, bathmat, kitchen sponge, parchment paper etc if you are planning to use the kitchen PS: Dont get your hopes too high with the A/C because they actually charge you if you want to use it.
