  : The breakfast was good - with the lady in charge very helpful . A thought - perhaps the hotel could arrange visits to the adjacent palace/ music school?
  : Some of the decoration in the building where we stayed was a bit tired - but not a big point.

  : Nice large room and great location.
  : Biggest issue when we were leaving, the porter lifted our wheeled luggage by the handle and broke it. He wasn't at all apologetic and was laughing at it (the situation). We had planned to walk to the train station but couldn't as our luggage couldn't be dragged. They offered no solution to the problem, I even suggested they get us a water taxi and the receptionist shot that down immediately. After the two of them stood there just looking at us, not offering to help in any was, I finally asked if they tape and the porter did a poor tape job to fix it (on half fell apart almost immediately). Luckly other half held together well enough for us to catch the Vaporetto and make our train.

  : Room is your typical Venetian fantasy setting on the grand canal. Breakfast room and bar / salon area are stunning. Keep in mind this is a very old set of buildings. Floors are askew..no elevators.
  : Just keep in mind that this is a tourist hotel with no elevator. Rooms might not have views, but this place has charm.
