  : This apartment was clean, spacious and centrally located. We were able to get around walking to all the major sites. Lots of great dining options nearby. The day we departed we walked to the bus station in under 20 minutes. This area of Venice is bit more quiet and relaxed. We liked getting away from the crowds in the evenings a relaxing in quiet piazzas. Easy to get a gondola ride right next to the Academia bridge.
  : We were prepared to pay for the tourist tax in cash upon arrival, but were really surprised to learn that we also had to pay the 100 cleaning fee in cash as well, upon arrival. I was the impression that the cleaning fee was going to be charged to my credit card via Booking.com along with the cost of the apartment rental. Luckily we had extra cash with us, but paying the 100 cleaning fee + 60 tourist tax drained us of all the cash we had on us. After checking in we had to go in search of a bank ATM. I knew the tourist tax would be due in cash at check-in, but I had no idea I was going to have to pay the cleaning fee in cash up front as well. On this trip to Italy we booked other apartments in Rome and Florence via Booking.com and these other properties charged the cleaning fee along with the rental fee to my credit card via Booking.com, none of these other properties asked that the cleaning fee be paid in cash up front.

  : The location was absolutely fantastic for exploring Venice. There were 4 over us, so it was great having 4 bedrooms and 4 separate bathrooms. It was very clean.Adriana was a lovely host and met us at the water taxi and took us to the apartment. She was always very responsive to any emails beforehand. We loved Venice so much. What a stunning place. We would definitely stay again. Oh, and it was so quiet, even though we were in the middle of the city.
  : Personality, we weren't taken with the decor, but that's just us being picky. It won't be to everyone's taste. But we were barely there, other than to sleep. So it suited us perfectly.

  : Great location and good accommodations for our group of 3 couples. We enjoyed the apartment a lot and our host was really lovely. She addressed our issues right away. The apartment is spacious, clean and had everything we needed.
  : The stairs! Many stairs to climb with our heavy luggage but that's part of the charm of old Italy and once we were in, it really wasn't an issue.

  : The apartment was spotlessly clean and in a lovely location, communication was very good. Central to Rialto, St Marks, about a 10 minute walk either way, close to restaurants and supermarkets about 5 mins walk
  : Possibly to put a toaster and kettle in the kitchen area would be useful :-)
