  : We liked the fact that the apartment was fully equipped with all needs (big balcony with view, dishwasher, fridge freezer, private parking, nice bed). The apartment was not warm inside due to the good insulation, shutters and ceiling ventilator. The apartment looks the same as the pictures. There is a nespresso machine (advice: nespresso machine only works with Lore cups not the cheap one, and there is a filter coffee machine). We liked the fact the small shop was a few steps away, every morning fresh bread and we could other fresh croissants a day in advance. If you drive the road up the hill you arive in a hiking area, in a 20-30 min walk you can visit the castle with the best view over the lake. What is also great that it is a village with the boat connection, so easy connection to all places.
  : We dont have points that we didnt like about the apartment. About the environment: we expected to have more swimming options in Varenna. But you can join the pool at Olivedo. We decides to drive twice to the Spiaggia of Colico, you have a nice beach there with a restaurant, you can rent (e)mountainbikes, canoe, sup, etc. We mountainbiked up north on a cycling path this was very nice to do.

  : Great view of the lake from the balcony. Big rooms with living room and small kitchenette. Owner was very responsive and helped with advice throughout the trip!
  : Wifi didn't work for us the whole time. The location is pretty far from the lake down steep steps and taxi's are hard to come by in Varenna. Definitely need to schedule the taxis in the beginning of the day so you don't have to walk up 40 minutes of steps to get back to the place like we did! (Not a complaint for the hotel, just a word of advice!) We loved our stay here.

  : Very nice spacious and clean apartment with a good view of the lake. The apartment was fully equipped. Nearby was a pizzeria and a supermarket, where we brought bread every morning. We found the short cut to Veranna. Going down took 15-20 min, but going up is very steep and took 40-45 minuts. Eventhough we are in good shape, we only did the climb up once - it was way to hard, and a cap is only around 10 euros and worth the money!
  : The host mixed up the dates, and had forgot we arrived that day. We had to wait an hour for the keys. We thought we easily could walk from Perledo to Veranne and back, but found out it was way harder than expected. Therefore we spend more money on caps than expected.
