  : Apartment is very nice with amazing balcony a bit small but cosy and comfortable. Close to train station. We didn't have breakfast there but still it was waiting for us water, coffee and small snack.

  : As mentioned by others, the view towards the northwest was fantastic---the biggest asset of this unit. Stromboli island in the south is in sight. Everything worked well, including shower and kitchen and the (tiny) elevator to the upper floor. Communication upon arrival went well; also the pickup from the Tropea train station (very close by, you can see and hear the trains) was very nice and convenient.
  : One needs to be aware that this apartment is not on the top floor. There is another rather large unit above you, directly overlooking your terrace. So the terrace is not "private". Also, in the bedroom there is constant noise in the morning and the evening both from the corridor---the entry door is one meter away from your bed, and from the (toilet) flushing of the apartment above you; with seemingly very little sound isolation. So you must be prepared for a typical "granny-style" apartment experience: somebody living very vividly above you. In the first night there were no persons living above; this was an entirely different experience. But you cannot count on that. Bring earplugs if you are noise sensitive! Also there are cats trying to make there way onto your terrace part from the other (southern) side of the terrace inhabited by others, presumably begging for food. We tried to block this with two water bottles which mostly worked. There is no thermometer in the apartment --- I suppose this is intentional, as my feeling was that in the morning and evening, temperatures went way beyond 32 Degree Celsius. Of course you could invoke the heat pump, but this works only in the first sleeping room; the price being paid is a polar jet-stream in this room. So people who are heat sensitive might feel like in a heat trap. But then, if you can't handle intense heat you should not go to Calabria in summer---chose fall or spring!

  : The host and her sister were so helpful and went the extra mile with their service. The clean, top floor apartment is small but has everything you need. The bonus for us was the large balcony and the lovely sea view and of Stromboli. Location is an easy 5 minute walk to the old town and a bit longer to the beach. There is a fresh food market nearby and train station to airport is an easy 10 minute walk.
  : The walls are not soundproof and next door neighbours are noisy. A small detail but actual furniture such as the bed are different than in the advertised photos.
