: The place had a lovely feel of Sicilian life, and the beds were comfy, and the owner was helpful on our arrival. Parking was really straightforward and very convenient. unlike several places we stayed there was a kettle and microwave. It was great for the traveller (like us) that were not chasing the tourist crowd. I would stay again. there were plenty if little shops nearby and the best pizza takeaway I have ever had. Lovely bakery for breakfast about 20 yards away.
: Main issue was that in 35 degree heat there was no air conditioning. There was a ceiling fan which moved the hot air around a bit, but at night it was very challenging for those from Northern England. I was also surprised that it was a vegetarian place (no meat in the kitchen!) since this was not mentioned. Another thing was that there were no glasses, cups or anything else to use for anything eating or drinking (I had to go out and buy glasses and cups etc. not even a teaspoon or butter knife.
