  : Rooms were really cool as they were set up to look like different countries and every room had different feel.
  : Worst customer service i had ever experienced. They were not really clear about check out process so i had to wire transfer my payment and manager of the property was arguing with me for hours in messages. They wouldnt admit that they made mistake and kept blaming me for everything. Very rude and arrogant and because of that i would never use them again . Hotel was really cool but the customer service was one of the worst i had ever exercised while traveling a world in last 10 years .

  : The room was comfortable and clean. It did have an elevator and it did have a great air conditioner. The location was very good. It was also very quiet.
  : There needed to be more communication about the fact that check in for this hotel is in a different location. The first staff member we dealt with was great. However, there was no staff during check out at around 730am. I waited for about 10 to 15 mins and needed to leave to catch a train. This caused it to be awkward with settling the bill. I was not the only one who needed to check out at about the same time.However, it was the security that was a huge issue for us. At about 6am, someone was able to access our room. It startled us awake. We "locked" the door for the night, however it seems that the "lock" doesn't actually work and there are no other security devices for the door. The person apologized and closed the door. We do not know if this was another guest who's key worked for our room or a staff member. Either way, it was not good.

  : The room was very spacious. The decor in this specific themed room was subtle (Japanese themed) and more tasteful than some of the other pictures / reviews suggest for other rooms. The shower was very good. Bed is very big and the continental style flat sheets were just what was needed for hot weather sleeping (duvets and extra pillows in the cupboard for those who prefer).
  : Unfortunately no kettle in the room (appears to be a common feature across other hotels). There is a short walk to the Bernina Hotel for breakfast as the Design Suite is in an apartment block nearby (not a big issue, just to alert people that facilities are shared). There is a minibar but the prices aren't great (especially since it includes ordinary water bottles) so come prepared before arriving in Tirano.

  : Bed was relatively comfortable. Air conditioning worked well in the room (but make sure your room comes with AC).
  : AIR CONDITIONING WARNING: the booking.com listing shows AC for the Design Suites but only some of the rooms actually come with AC. You must make sure the individual room you book is one with AC. Luckily we were able to change rooms but they made us pay an additional 20 euros. The property is about a 4 minute walk from the main hotel and train station.

  : It is on a very busy street, quite a bit of traffic noise at night.

  : Comfy room for a night's stay after arriving on the Bernin Express. Exceptionally clean. A staff member from the Bernina Hotel where we needed to check in first kindly walked there with us.
