  : Free parking of car on the street.
  : Owner is not near the place. So messaging you in inappropriate moment (stress at the %%$rental shop, driving, searching the location, damned italian drivers in busy syracuse, stupid road layout) = no contact. Then when we arrive, no CLEAR sign which appartment is the ONE on number 18. Calling the owner ? ANSWERING MACHINE. We are left to sit at the walkway near the STINKING trash outside the door..in the evening. = SUCKS. THEN..he does show up , 20 mins. later NOT warning that he DOES come. (our breaking point to seek another expensive place was 30 minutes of non communication). Up the stairs of the building FOUR LEVELS of stairs carrying yr own luggage , no elevator...at damping 35 degrees C = SUCKS. The aircondition did not start up for the first 20 minutes..and the owner had already left..old piece of crap ..finally when it did "work", it provided only a meagre cooling.. The apartment floor is SHARED with 3 other inhabitants. Each their own bathroom, but you DO cross these people on your way to your "own" shower...in yr pyamas..or their underwear.. :? The shared kitchen and eating room are those of a small appartment, so if you want to take something ("the fridge is "free"..how free??) from the fridge you deal with peering eyes, not sure you take a commongood, or a private good from the fridge. Even so, the stuff in the fridge is abysmal, and the breakfast is cheap packed goods and cheap (bad flavor) already opened carton synthetic fruit drinks. Not AT ALL "typical " sicilian breakfast. Or you wld refer to sicilian poor area family breakfasts. The location is STILL too far to casually walk to the syracuse old center (remember: 40 degrees summer) . So it is only as a LAST resort..but all in all, rather pass this place.

  : This is a great place, in the best location, and the hosts were thoughtful with recommendations. The space was clean and amazing as advertised.

  : Host was exceptionally kind and friendly. Even helped carry my suitcase up the four lights of stairs. In addition, the room and private washroom were very clean.
  : The Apartment is really a Pensione in which you have one room in an apartment. There was no kitchen, microwave or stove to cook although a shared fridge was available for use. The stated washing machine was nowhere to be found.

  : Alessandro was a real nice and helpful host. Because i broke my foot just beforehand he spontaneously changed us to a room with elevator in the house. the place had a beautiful view from the balcony

  : You have to walk to the old town (2 km) but you are only 400m from the Archeological Park. It is easy to park for free, which is a good advantage. Good breakfast served at a cafe nearby. Good facilities.

  : The host is kind and very accommodating! The room was almost sparkling clean, just the mattress a little (not really noteworthily) improvised (extension by pillows). Free parking is available right in front of the room (Brilliant!)!!
  : Sadly, the accommodation does not provide any towels. The room gets little daylight due to rather small window and can be a bit noisy due to traffic and the church across the road (interesting "bells" ^^). It is located a 30 min walk to the old town island. Otherwise absolutely fine.
