: We made a reservation with booking.com at this hotel for 4 persons and 2 children suite (2 and 3 years old, both of them sleeping in the same bed with us) and another room for 2 adults and an one year old child. When we arrived at the hotel, she told us that it doesn't matter that the 2 children sleep in the same bed with us, we have to take another room because the suite is for 4 adults only, not for 4 adults co-sleeping with their babies. To be sincere, we actually were quite impressed by the lady's (who seems to be the owner) rudeness and unpoliteness. Ok, with no alternative, we had to book another suite as she said it was neccesary, because she has "a lot of expenses due to COVID sanification and it is also august, the month when she has to make money".The lady "kindly" informed us, that due to no reason, the breakfast was included in the price only for one of the suites and for the double room, that means that one of the suites was "out of breafast service".That being told, we finally negociated the breakfast for all 6 adults, but not for the children, as the children were too small to eat, but big enough to have their accomodation paid.Needless to say, that my room, which was one of the suites, was so "well-sanitized" that on the soap holder attached to the shower, i found the wrapped confection of shampoo left by the guests who were there before us. And also the other suite had the towels full of cat hair.Also, the breakfast service was very close to being unacceptable: all the plates were dirty, glasses with fingerprints all-over, cereals on the table but no milk or yogurt, just juice and water, the sponge cake was dry.All in all, a bad experience, it's sad to encounter personnel so rigid and with all that aim to make you feel your somehow rubbed and disrespected, especially when it comes to our vacation period which we all wait for that much.But don't miss any chance to visit Tuscany.
