  : The hotel was very unique. There were a lot of events such as weddings, so we got fireworks every night. The breakfast was good. Lots of sweet things like cakes but also cereal, yogurt etc. we stayed in an annexe and really enjoyed it.
  : The pool was only open until about lunch due to the events on so its not a hotel where you can spend the day by the pool. Its also not overly close to the sea and there arent many places to walk to but lots of places are a quick drive, such as Pompeii.

  : SCAM PLEASE READ BELOW. The only funny thing I can say about this property is is the decoration.
  : From the moment we arrived it was a weird experience. We couldnt park our car as it was reserved for wedding guest. So after walking half a mile with our suitcases we found ourselves in front of a closed gate as a wedding ceremony was starting with loud music and trumpets. Once checked in, the room was not anything like the pictures. It was dirty and the shower was broken. All the communal areas were occupied with wedding guests as there were not 1, but 2 weddings at the same time. The garden and pool are used for weddings so as a hotel guest you can not use these facilities. If you are lucky enough to find some space to sit, you will have to wear a tuxedo or you will be stared at like the stranger you are on someone elses wedding. Very unpleasant experience. After sharing our complaints the hotel agreed to a refund verbally, which booking.com customer service confirmed in writing. (See screenshot)So we checked out, left and booked another hotel around the corner (San Lorenzo) where we had a nice evening like we planned for half the price.THE SCAM: Following up with booking.com the next day the hotel said our fee was non refundable and just charged us regardless. Even after having the key back and agreeing to a refund.

  : This place was incredible and bizarre in equal measure. Its very extravagant and clearly quite a locally famous and popular place, judging by the daily weddings and events and the photographs of the owner hosting celebrities (I assume) throughout the hotel walls. The room we (eventually) stayed in was beautiful, with grand decor, a comfortable bed and all the extra touches such as slippers in the room. The desk staff were lovely and did their best to help us.
  : We had a few mishaps and had to change rooms a couple of times we booked late so perhaps got one of the last rooms available in the attic Our first room seemed to have an issue with the drainage and the bath water came back up through a floor drain... It was also very warm up in the attic and the air con couldnt handle it. The staff were very accommodating and moved us so we cant really fault them. The other thing to note is that (I presume due to daily events) the pool is only open until about midday so sadly we didnt get to use it. Breakfast was okay.

  : Ridiculously OTT, pink LED lighting, statues and gilt everywhere, photos of Maradona and Messi on the walls but actually totally relaxed and we had two wonderful nights there. The pool was open and quiet, the kids were made to feel completely welcome and we really enjoyed dinner at Gerani, the restaurant across the road.
  : The location is odd - very off the beaten track. Get a car! Dont go if you dont brace your senses for a full Italianate curlicued gilted overload.

  : The property is incredibly beautiful. Great breakfast. Transportation is accessable. Comfy bed. Nice bathroom. Staff is helpful.

  : No access to the pull whatsoever and event in the evening so quite loud till late.

  : The room was very big and comfortable. Room was clean and housekeeping were doing a great job everyday. Staff was pleasant.
  : The worst thing about our stay was the music, I don't know why but the hotel blasted very loud music outside from 8am until midnight, making it so hard to sleep. One night there was a giant party outside , we phoned the reception to ask what was happening and they said the music would be on until at least midnight. They offered us another room but honestly the music was so loud it made no difference, there was no escaping it. I was really looking forward to relaxing holidays but that was a miss :( Breakfast was disappointing.
