  : NO SAFE, my gold jewelry was stolen. Since the place seems secure (3 locked doors) I must assume it was the staff. In addition to the theft, their response was "its not mandatory for us to give you a safe. You should not leave valuables in the room, we trust our staff but not you. You probably lost it outside the hotel and it has nothing to do with us." In the first moments they offered to help me contact the police and by the time the conversation was over they were accusing me and not helping at all. Just intent on gaslighting me so that I wouldn't write a review maybe. I am lucky I have a friend in Rome who assisted me at the police station to make a report. As they denied mine was by theft, I am not surprised that they also claim no one has ever had anything stolen. Such a devastating shame as I was told the area was dangerous (the reason I left my jewelry in the first place) and didn't think the most dangerous place would be my hotel room.They did nothing to question or explain who was working and had access to my room and in fact were working actively against assisting me. Of course it doesn't bring my jewelry back and I regret not going to the hotel up the street, which for 280 could at least provide a softer bed and more quiet room.

  : Location optimal for people either travelling through or vising for 1-2 days. Host was helpful and made sure I was settled. Loved the small breakfast that was provided, both in the room fridge and early morning fresh baked goods left behind the door. A nice balance between an Airbnb and a hotel level service. They are pet friendly which was most important for me.
  : Noises from the other rooms carry through easily, but unavoidable in an old converted building/apartment.

  : The place was.lovely and clean and the care taken by the staff to give us everything we needed was excellent.
  : We were we given miss information by the receptionist in relation to a taxi to the airport. We asked the day before the flight if she could book us a taxi foenthe next day for 8.15 am, she said better to book in the morning and it will come immediately. So the next day we went to reception and there was no one there she came at 8.25 and couldn't get us a taxi she want us to walk with our cases to the Basilica, we refused so we all ended up in thw Street trying to flag down a cab. It was very stressful and of course we were very worried about missing our flight. We finally flagged down a cab and made it to thwnairport 10minutes before the flight was closed. IF we missed our flight, we would have had to pay a lot more money tonget home. The member of staff did a lot of shoulder shrugging and eye rolling and just wanted to get us to leave. We think she may need a little more training on not making promises she can't keep and maybe beginning somewhere on time when she has promised she will be. It is a shame as you would really have been given 10 out of ten if it wasn't for this girls attitude .
