  : The room seemed bigger than the size given on the booking.com site, for some reason...it was amply spacious for three adults, and could have accommodated a fourth. Furnishings are spare but thoughtfully provided, with pretty much everything one would need for a leisure stay - or in our case, a prayer pilgrimage. All the reception assistants were very friendly and helped us with what we needed to know; initially, the Executive Suite we had booked for our first seven nights was unavailable on the eighth, so I booked for our final night the Family Suite, which could accommodate three. The party who had booked the Executive Suite on the eighth night cancelled, and we were given a free upgrade to keep the Executive Suite for our last night of this trip! The cleaning staff were very thorough in ensuring that the room was cleaned every day, and the beds properly turned down. The flooring of the bathroom was not prone to wet or slippery spots, which was a bonus. Bathroom was also equipped with a heating rack, which was essential for drying clothes or towels!Location was excellent, with almost every place we wanted to visit within good walking distance! Plenty of well-stocked supermarkets nearby, and reasonably-priced restaurants serving very nice food. Taxi stand is a short distance away (with plenty of available taxis), but you might find that comfortable shoes get you pretty much where you want to go :)
  : There were some aspects that took getting used to, but they were properly addressed by the existing arrangement :) The exterior of the building (which is admittedly more than 100 years old) does show its age, and the sidewalks are often littered with wrappers or bottles from other people passing by; however, the inside of the property/hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. The reception is open from 9 am to 4 pm only; however, they respond quickly to emails and WhatsApp messages asking for assistance (I cannot overemphasise this! Estefania and Goli answered the emails I sent prior to our stay very quickly and thoroughly!) We arrived before 9 am on our first day; though the reception was not yet open for the day, the cleaning staff was already hard at work, and Nadia gave us a towel so that we could freshen up in the clean and spacious common bathroom in the reception area, which we needed and greatly appreciated!

  : The ceilings and the room was spacious
  : The 6 day stay that i was so looking forward to turned out to be a complete nightmare !!!The so called “Luxury Apartments “ are located at the junction of 2 main roads and 2 doors down from a very noisy bar/ night club . Every evening the drunks would congregate outside under our paper thin glass windows and partied till 4.5O am . We made staff and management aware of the unacceptable noise levels , which prevented us from getting any sleep, only to be spoken to condescendingly and told “ What do you expect, it’s summer “. We asked if they could please move us to another room, even if it meant moving every day but they flatly refused saying it wasn’t their problem about the noise levels nor that we couldn’t sleep. They refused to give us a refund so we could find a new hotel . Our room number was 104A .
