  : I know 5 star hotels in Rome are expensive by nature, but for what we got, the Dama absolutely wasn’t worth it.Firstly, the pluses: the pool & garden are nice, and the interior design of the ground floor is chic, but that’s kind of it.Now, where do I start?Our room (104) was nice when we arrived, but when we came back after a walk & dinner the sulphurous smell from the bathroom was REALLY intense, plus the noise from the road outside was unbearable (our room windows opened out onto the quayside road and a tunnel below where motorbike engine revs were amplified and so we felt like we were on a race track).For the smell, the maintenance team came and sprayed a product so toxic that there were several warnings on the back packing - along with a list of chemical ingredients which caught in the back of our throats. He only sprayed the shower also, which suggests he knew exactly where the smell came from and that it’s happened before. I asked the staff member if he’d let me see the product and he obliged (I have a picture). Thankfully one of us is a biochemist and had to use our pharmacology & chemistry knowledge to decipher, realising quickly that they are harmful.‘Do not spray towards yourself or others.’ ‘ May produce an allergic reaction.’‘harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects’‘do not spray onto or near food’ (it was sprayed just beside our toothbrushes…)We closed the bathroom door to get through the night, but couldn’t open the window because of the noise.And so back to the noise… The front desk offered to move rooms for us, which we did the next day, however the room they gave us was an attic with the tiniest window way above head height and way inferior to what we’d paid for and what we had had. Then charged us double for the nights we spent there.

  : We had an excellent experience at the hotel. It is well placed for reaching the historic sites whilst also being away from the busy tourist areas. This is a modernized, historic, Palazzo that is a true oasis in an iconic and frenetic city.It felt like an extravagance to look for a hotel with a pool, but it was definitely worth it after a hot July day exploring the city.The staff were very friendly and responsive.
  : Overall the free wifi on the facility was good, but was inconsistent in the room; slow in some areas. This is most likely due to the robust construction of a historic property (thickness of walls), but hopefully they can rectify by adding some access points.

  : Staff were utterly incredible, nothing was too much for them :)
  : For 660 a night you would think breakfast was included or a nice room, unfortunately not we were stuck up on the third floor, with a window the size of the palm of my hand - you really are paying for the pool in my opinion, it is a great hotel if you have lots and lots of money, but nothing exceptional for the price except for the staff who are wonderful and will take care of you for anything you need. We understood that this expense was alot as we were treating ourselves for the last night on honeymoon, however everything was very overpriced, the small pool was full of children with one exit, so I was stuck in the pool for a long amount of time until I could get back out due to the amount of people. I am not one to complain usually but I just didnt feel like this was worth the money for what the hotel is, yes it is beautiful, yes it has a pool, but for over 600 a night you would expect breakfast, or even a room with a window you could see out of.
