  : The location was great, We could deposit our luggage before the officail check-in-time and get the keys
  : Mould The appartement is semi-underground level and pretty moist. You can see the mould on the walls and especially in the kitchen and the bathroom there is an strong mouldy smell. This is not only problematic for people who are allergic to mould but can pose a general health hazard. Although the appartement was nicely cleaned up, the mouldiness gave the general impression that the appartement was a bit run down. Toilet flush The toilet flush was lets say special. It didnt work properly and took ages to refill. So we had to use a bucket of water to support the flushing process. Number of rooms (no longer relevant since October 2023) The appartement was offered as having 2 rooms - both according to the search criterea and the description on Booking (quote: Bedroom 1 plus Living room). Travelling with our teenage kid, this was important for us, so we were willing to pay a significantly higher price than for comparable appartments with one room only. In the more detailed description we received after booking, it was confirmed that we had booked an appartement with a separate bedroom. However, this was not the case. What we got was a single-room-appartement. Of course, we were not really amused about this fact. The landlord could/would neither offer a solution or adjust the price. However, after our complaint, he soon corrected the description on Booking.

  : The only positive aspect for the apartment in Via Ciancaleoni 43 is the location.
  : The owner juggles with 2-3 apartments situated at different address. The one on Via de Ciancaleoni 43 is in fact a room located on the mezzanine level, with access to an inner courtyard, without view of the city. In the room, there is a double bed (with used mattress, used pillows) and an extendable armchair (a compromise solution for possibly one night), not a sofa bed. The apartment seems smaller then descripted and there is moisture, mold on the room walls and bathroom walls. Also, there is a strong smell of mold everywhere, especially in the kitchen cabinet. Although description mentions heating, the only heating source is the air conditioner that only spreads the smell of mold. The wall-mounted air dehumidifier does not cope. The space is too small for three people, not to mention the broken dining table or the only two chairs available inside. In theory, the owner seems available and he actually claims that he is, but in fact he is not.

  : Two spacious bedrooms in a good location to walk to main attractions. Not far from Termini station and hosts were very friendly and responsive.
  : Only a small minor issue, water pressure in shower was quite low and took a while to drain. We did inform the host about this so they are aware for future guests.
