  : The location was excellent, very close to the Campo dei Fiori, and about a 10 minute walk to the Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. When we had problems with no hot water, the lady came over soon after we contacted her.
  : The apartment was dirty, especially the kitchen. The photos on Booking.com do not reflect what we saw on the street, the front door, or some of the apartment. The website on Booking.com should warn about the problems with the water - only a trickle in the kitchen. The website says there are 2 living rooms with pullout couches. There is one living room. Most of the furniture is old and worn, two chairs in the living room very saggy, didn't dare sit in one. The ironing board fell down when we tried to use it. The freezer didn't work at all. The apartment needs to be cleaned well, updated and painted. The photos on Booking.com need to be changed to give a true reflection of the street, entrance and some rooms in the apartment.

  : We organised transit, to and from the airport, through the host. The 65€ taxi from the airportm´, late at night, had no headlights and my wife's seatbelt did not work. When I asked the driver about the lights, he shrugged and said it was "a mechanical problem". I text the host Luigi immediately from the taxi. He never replied and still hasn't. On our return to the airport, the taxi never arrived to collect us at 6am. I text Luigi but again got no reply... Luckily there was a taxi rank nearby and the set rate to the airport is only 48€.

  : Positives first. The location is great, its quite quiet as you are away from the main roads also near to a very pretty square and market so bars and restaurants are quite close. It was very spacious as it was converted from an old building. There were ample beds for a family, plenty of stacking chairs and a kitchen with a washing machine. Arrangements for check in were confirmed by phone, and there was an arrangement to meet with keys and paperwork. Air con works fine. Iron and ironing board available. Plenty of plates and pans. Welcomed with wine and biscuits. On balance the redeeming features of the apartment are the location and the amount of space.
  : Negatives next. It looked absolutely nothing like the photo on the booking.com page, it was clearly a totally different apartment, I didn't like that as the apartment in the photo looked much nicer than the apartment we got with its interesting choice of purple , green and yellow paint work all in one room. We were charged for towel change and it was something like 30E, well the towels were not changed and I would have preferred to not pay it and take my own towel, which I had packed anyway but that wasn't an option. A 30E charge to provide towels is a bit steep in my view we could have just bought them. We were informed there was a problem with the water so if one shower was in use the other might go cold, the upstairs shower was generally cold or boiling hot no matter if the other shower was in use so we all used the downstairs bathroom. Beds are ok but basically slats with a mattress on top, not good if you have a bad back. Don't expect antiques, think more ikea/student accommodation which is what it feels like.

  : The apartment was very authentic and felt original and that's what we loved. It was very roomy. The location was perfect. Everything was in walking distance.....all the key attractions, loads of restaurants, supermarket. Luggage storage place 1 min walk ( although it was closed on Saturday as owners were on holiday)
  : Kitchen was small, but good if you're not cooking too muchThe smell of the bins when you enter on the ground floor could put you off, but this was minor. Once you got to the first floor, the smell disappeared and the general.atmosphere way outweighed this.

  : Peaceful location close to Campo di Fiori. Great communication from the host regarding check-in and local attractions. Good value for nice sized apartment.
